Intensive courses are now firmly recognised as being one of the quickest and most cost effective methods of learning to drive. We at Dedham Vale were among the forerunners in this very specialised form of tuition and have the expertise and knowledge to get you on the road fast. Remember that a Dedham Vale Intensive Course not only gets you on the road quickly but also saves you money! If you have never driven before, you can save as much as £85.75 compared with our standard rates. Current legislation insists that Theory Tests must be passed before Practical Driving Tests can even be booked, therefore if you have yet to pass the Theory Test, you should expect that it will normally take you around six-eight weeks to complete both tests. Theory Tests can normally be sat within two weeks of applying (either by telephone or by post) and now that the testing centres are fully computerised you will receive your results immediately after you have taken your test.
If you already hold a Driving licence for an automatic car or have passed the Motorcycle test - then you may be exempt from taking a Theory Test. If you have exemption from Theory or if you have already passed your Theory Test, you will be able to take advantage of one of our Learn to Drive in less than a week courses. If you are required to take the Theory Test, our recommendation is to take one of our Six-Week Courses. We would normally evenly spread your course of lessons over the six weeks, so for example with our 25-hour course - you would take four hours of lessons each week. With all our courses, the hassle and inconvenience of booking tests is taken away. Our office has a link with the DSA booking centres and we are easily able to snap-up short notice test appointments. 15 hrs This course proves ideal for those nearing test standard or for those who have recently failed a driving test. All inclusive Price £407 (£20.50 per hour)	20 hrs This course is designed for those with 15-20 hours of recent experience. Junctions & Manoeuvres should just require polishing. Basic skills such as moving away, gear changing and steering should already be mastered. TERMS & CONDITIONS

It is your responsibility to ensure that you bring along your signed driving licence, suitable photographic evidence of identity and where applicable theory pass certificate.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you will be able to satisfy the driving test eyesight requirement. You must be able to read a numberplate from 20.5 metres (67 feet).
Dedham Vale Driving School reserves the right to withdraw the use of one of its cars for the purpose of the driving test, if the Instructor believes that your driving has failed to reach a satisfactory standard.
In the case above, you will forfeit your test fee. Dedham Vale will not be responsible for refunding test fees.
